

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Soledad Garcia, who bravely battled cancer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and woman of unwavering faith. Surrounded by the love of her family, she peacefully left this world on September 10, 2024 at the age of 78.
Born on June 29, 1946, Soledad lived a life dedicated to her family and faith. She found immense joy in the time spent with her five daughters and four grandchildren, cherishing every laugh, every hug, and every shared moment. To them, she was not just a parent and grandparent, but a pillar of strength, love, and grace.
Soledad was known for her deep faith and commitment to her spiritual journey. She found peace and solace in her relationship with God, which carried her through the toughest battles, including the fight against cancer. She faithfully attended Sunday service and prayed daily.
Throughout her illness, Soledad remained a source of inspiration, showing remarkable resilience, courage, and grace. She never wavered in her hope and determination, leaving a lasting legacy of love and faith for those who knew and loved her.
Soledad is survived by her daughters Alexandra Beaujean, Gabby Garcia, Adriana Simons, Iliana Garcia and Lyzett Mata. She is also survived by her grandchildren Adam Roman, Ashley and Emily Toc, and Madelyn Simons.
A public visitation and Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Garden Oaks Funeral Home located at 13430 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77083
Funeral mass will be the following day, Wednesday September 18, 2024 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church located at 6800 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, TX 77025
