Phillip Glenn Parsons

December 20, 1955- June 27, 2016

Phillip Parsons, 60, passed away Monday evening, June 27th 2016 at his home in Cypress, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas on December 20, 1955 to Deanne Kinney and Glenn Parsons.

In his younger years he attended The High School of Performing Arts and won various art awards, he was a very talented artist and musician. He enjoyed playing his harps, bongos and most recently his guitar. Phil loved all kinds of music but especially enjoyed the blues. Phil loved food, cooking it and eating it! He also enjoyed entertaining family and friends. He was interested in bow hunting and survival skills and fishing. He also also liked playing around on the computer. Phil was an avid sports enthusiast, he supported all of our Houston teams, the Texans, the Rockets, and the Astros. Phil was interested in politics, he supported the Republican Party, whole heartedly! Most importantly, he loved his family. He loved cooking for us and spending time with all of us.

Phil was survived by his loving partner Ginger Miller. They reconnected 16 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. He was also survived by his two children, Jessica Williams and his son in law Trevor Williams and Christopher Wilson. His Grandchildren, Kendall Parsons, Caleb Williams, Jesse Williams, Cristina Wilson and Junior Wilson. Daeton Harding, Jacobi Harding and Annabella Barajas. Phils surving family, Sylvia Lassetter and family, Lyndia Chapman and brother in law Guy Chapman, Scarlett Kinney, Tara O'Quinn, Joni Parsons and Mitch Parsons and family. Hannah Millar and husband Doug Millar and Shannon Harding and partner David Barajas. He had many extended family members also.

Phil worked for Cypress Custom Pools for 8 years. He was a senior pool technician. He was referred to as “the Pool Man” in the industry. He was a dedicated and respected employee. We would like to thank Brian Whitlock and his wife Lisa for all their love and support. We would also like to thank all the Cypress Custom Pools employees.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095.
