Ponciano Lopez Villegas

Ponciano Lopez, age 51, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026. Ponciano was born on November 19, 1974. He was the son of Proceso and Juana Lopez. Ponciano is survived by his wife, Florfina Lopez, and their three children, Jeraldime, Edwin, and David Lopez.

Ponciano, also known as Chano, was a very charismatic and friendly man, loved by all who knew him. Ponciano was a great father who always gave us life advice and taught us to be kind-hearted people.

In his free time, he enjoyed being in his garden with his family. He loved to dance, sing, and spend time grilling. He was always attentive to his family, making sure they were always well.

Chano lived his life to the fullest, sharing his time with family and friends. He was well-liked and respected at his job, always giving his best and looking out for his coworkers. At a young age, Chano began working in his parents' businesses in Mexico. He continued working in the concrete construction industry in Houston, Texas for 20 years. He was an excellent provider for his family.

Chano had a beautiful 31-year love story with Flor. He met Flor, the love of his life, at a young age in Mexico. They dated for four years and were married on December 31, 1994. From that beautiful love, they had their three wonderful children.

Today is not a farewell, but a tribute to the love you planted, which will live forever in us.

A visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Oak Chapel, located at 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77039, on February 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am (next day). A rosary will take place at the same venue on February 1, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

The funeral service is scheduled for February 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Brookside Funeral Home in the Grand Oak Chapel. Following the funeral service, a committal service will be held at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX, 77039, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

Ponciano Lopez, edad 51 falleció en paz el lunes 26 de enero del 2026. Ponciano nació el 19 de noviembre del 1974. Fue hijo de Proceso y Juana Lopez. Ponciano es sobreviviente de su esposa Florfina Lopez y sus tres hijos Jeraldime, Edwin & David Lopez.

Ponciano también conocido como Chano fue un hombre muy carismático, muy amigable y querido por todos los que lo conocieron. Ponciano fue un gran padre donde siempre nos dio consejos de vida y nos enseño ser personas de buen corazón.

En sus días de descanso a el le gustaba estar en su jardín en compañía de su familia. Le gustaba mucho bailar, cantar y pasar tiempo en el asador. El siempre estuvo al pendiente de su familia, asegurándose de que siempre estuvieran bien.

Chano vivió su vida a lo máximo compartiendo su tiempo con familia y amigos. El fue muy querido y reconocido en su trabajo. Siempre dando lo mejor de el y cuidando de sus compañeros de trabajo. A temprana edad Chano empezó a trabajar en los negocios de sus padres en México. EL continuo ejercitando su trabajo de cemento en construcción en Houston, Texas por 20 años. El fue un excelente proveedor para su familia.

Chano tuvo una historia muy bonita de amor de 31 años con Flor. El conoció a Flor el amor de su vida muy joven en México, fueron novios por 4 años y se casaron el 31 de diciembre en 1994. De ese bonito amor crearon sus tres lindos hijos.

Hoy no es una despedida, es un homenaje al amor que sembraste y que vivirá por siempre en nosotros.
