Thank you Celena for remembering my mom and sending flowers this year 2025. You are too sweet. I do remember you coming over to the house when we were kids. Your memory depicts my mom, always making sure to feed everyone.  Hope you and your family are doing well.

My condolences to the whole Magbag family.  I met Mrs, Magbag when I was in elementery through Anna. When I would visit her home, Mrs. Magbag would not let me leave with an empty stomach. She would always make everyone feel at home. She was very hospitable, sweet and caring. She loved her family and although I lost touch, I've always remembered her warmth and making me feel like part of the family. 
I am so sorry for your loss and I'll pray for your peace and comfort.

To Joe and the family, 
I met Priscilla at the City of Houston.   We stayed in contact over the years, even during our retirement.  She was a kind person and truly loved her family.   She made sure her children always had the best.  I will miss her calling my husband annually to get his sweet potato pie recipe.   Well done thy good and faithful servant.

Lola, I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the thought of not seeing you every day. I’ll never forget the good and bad memories I had with you. I can’t help but keep on looking at photos and videos of you that hold a lot of laughter and smiles. I’m gonna miss how much u pushed me to do good and yelled at me for doing bad. I’m also gonna miss all the great advice you gave me when it came to anything in life. Whether if it was about a fight in school or a girl I liked you always gave time to sit and talk to me and always had me laughing at the end. Im glad your at a better place now away from all the craziness here with us. I’ll continue to live my life and keep my head up for you , I'm sure you would like me to.

I never knew how much love a mother could have for her children until I experienced the love you have given me. It has motivated me to become the best mother that I can be for my kids. You were here to help us anytime we needed it and have always been the backbone to our family. As much as it hurts not to physically see you everyday, I know you’re finally pain free and at rest. All we have ever wanted was for you to smile and now you no longer have to worry about us because you are now able to watch over us and guide us spiritually. We will be here celebrating your life and all the good memories you and Dad gave us.You are and forever will be the queen of my heart!

Your scent still lingers under my nose from kissing you... you always smelled like a baby. Your voice still echos in my head calling out my name (for me to massage you). But most importantly your love still embraces me even with you gone. You were the most generous, caring, and gentle mom; and I am blessed that I’ve had years filled with you.

You are the light to the room, the bola bola to my ginataang, and most importantly the glue to our family. I know God has welcomed you with open arms and a pair of slippers at Heaven’s gates. I have faith that you are watching over us and guiding us in the right path. You are one of the strongest women I know and I believe it’s because of your great relationship with God. This is something I will always admire about you. One day I will hear your infamous laugh again, but until then I love you and see you later.

Dear Mom, 

I love you so much.  There are no words to describe the heartache and pain that I am experiencing right now, but I know that you are in a better place and are at peace.  Even though this is the saddest time in my life, I know I will have the happiest time when we will be together again in heaven.  

You have been the rock, the strongest force that has kept our family together.  You have been the glue that binds us. You have taken care of everyone from childhood to adulthood and continue to worry and care for us even in your last days.  You have been selfless, loving, forgiving, and caring.  You have sacrificed tremendously. Don’t worry now and be happy and at peace. 

I can still hear your laughter. You were always the loudest one at parties.  Without you, there would have been no Thanksgiving, Christmas, parties or gatherings that brought everyone together.  We always talk and gossip almost everyday and I visit you at the house several times a week just to eat dinner even though I am part of a Cooking Club for over ten years and still don’t know how to cook! I will be at a loss without you.  No one can replace you.  I will continue to talk to you and feel your spirit every day.  I know you are still watching us from Heaven. 

I am so honored to have taken care of you and comforted you during the last three weeks.  Until we meet again.  

P.S.  Mom, please don’t play my piano.  Just visit me in my dreams!

There are no words that can fully explain how much you mean to me. Since I can remember, you have always made it known how much you love me.  I can only hope my children feel the same love from me. Oh, how I will miss our conversations on my drives. I will always hear your voice and your laughter until we meet again.  You used to tell me, “You are the love of my life, the reason for my existence, without you life is not worth living.
