Quang That Ton

Tôn Thất Quang was a loving husband. Quang was preceded in death by his father Ton That Tuong and his younger brother Ton That Tien.

He leaves behind to rejoice in his eternal life his wife Nguyen Thu Thuy, his mom Hoang Thi Hue, his three sisters Ton Nu Tam Huong - Nguyen Hung (husband), Nguyen Jonathan Huan & Nguyen Jaime ToHuyen (children) / Ton Nu Hoang Anh / Ton Nu Hoang Le - Nguyen Brian (husband), Nguyen HoangHa JoAnn, Nguyen HoangYen LilliAnn & Nguyen HoangMi JuliAnn (children).

Quang was born in SaiGon, grown up, finished high school in Danang, Viet Nam. He was one of the earliest Vietnamese refugees “boat people” left Viet Nam on a small boat in 1980, arrived and settled in Lafayette LA. He attended University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated with B.S in Computer Science with highest honor in less than two and a half years.

Quang had an extensive career in Information Technology. He later co-founded MathCraft Securities Company as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leading the software development of products. The company provided enterprise securities management services for many large defense companies and United States Airforce / Navy bases.

Quang, you will be missed by all who knew you. You will be remembered as our greatest natural storyteller, kind, smart, brilliant, talented, generous. You have left us with great memories of your life.

He lived a carefree life he wanted. Between the earth and heaven, he lived free.
