Rae Marie Beavers, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Saturday, July 26th surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 29, 1940, Rae Marie lived a life defined by faith, family, and unwavering strength.
She was the devoted wife of the late Billy Beavers Sr., and together they built a beautiful life rooted in love and resilience. She was preceded in death by both her husband and her son, Billy Beavers Jr., whose memories she carried with grace and fierce devotion.
Rae Marie was the proud and loving mother of 11 children, grandmother to 27 grandchildren, and a cherished great-grandmother to many — including the blessing of a great-great-grandchild. Her love stretched across generations, always steady, always present. She was the rock of her family — the matriarch whose wisdom, compassion, and strength held everyone together.
She loved Jesus with her whole heart and lived out her faith daily in the way she cared for others. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth, her arms a place of comfort, and her words the safe haven of many secrets. To her family, she wasn’t just Mom or Nanny— she was their best friend, their trusted confidant, and the one they could always count on.
Her legacy is one of grace, grit, and unconditional love — a legacy that lives on in every life she touched.
She will be missed deeply and remembered always.
A graveside service will be held to honor Rae Marie’s incredible life, and her family asks that in her memory, we love one another a little more deeply, forgive more freely, and always keep faith at the center of our lives — just like she did.
