Ralph Dave Jones

Ralph Dave Jones was born on December 8th 1945 in Sangre Grande, Trinidad; son of Ulysses C. Williams and Austin Jones. Ralph worked in Trinidad for 26 years before migrating to the states to seek a better life for his children and family. He was survived by his children Vanessa C. Jones, Dave D. Jones, Dion D. Jones, Sparkle N. Jones, and Amber H. Jones; child father of Marsha Allen, Justina Mc Donald, and Susan De Bourg. Married three times, Ralph was survived by wife Ouida D. Jones. Ralph was also survived by 6 sisters, 3 brothers, 7 grandchildren, and 24 nieces and nephews. Ralph was a very dedicated hard worker, who loved to work. He worked for Southwest Airlines Provisioning for 15 years. He started his career in Chicago, Illinois then later moved to Houston, Texas where he continued work. RDJ “as known on work” was known for his ecstatic, charming, and pleasant charisma. Ralph was certainly the Superstar of Southwest. His smile would brighten up the room and attract everyone near and far. He warmed many hearts with his joyful and powerful laugh. Also, known for his passionate love of communication and display of expression…. “Talkative”. In Ralph’s spare time he loved watching sports; basketball being his favorite. His favorite teams were the Chicago Bulls and the Spurs. Things he also enjoyed were watching westerns, playing cards, dancing, music, dressing up nice, and enjoying his life with family and friends. He tried his best to keep everyone together in his family, he was the glue; the laid back peacemaker who tried to show us the importance of family and sticking together. Ralph lived his life and did it his way! He was an amazing loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and co-worker who will be truly missed but will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
