

Ramzy Rizk, born in Caliub, Egypt on July 14, 1923, died on April 24th in Houston. He is survived by his wife Katia, his son Emil Rizk (and wife Patricia), his daughters Katrina Teaker and Mona Carbona (and husband Vicente), 9 grandchildren, and two great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Mary Louise, in 2005.
Ramzy received two undergraduate degrees from the American University in Cairo, and a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois in 1949.
Ramzy worked for Exxon (Esso) for over 39 years, retiring in 1983. During his tenure, he held numerous overseas and U.S. positions.
Ramzy dedicated much of his time to supporting others. He helped people in crisis and assisted with tax return filings. He also volunteered consulting services at the business and university levels.
Ramzy was an elder at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church in Houston, and taught adult Bible classes there for several years.
A viewing will be held on Thursday April 29th at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday April 30th at the Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church 11612 Memorial Dr. Houston, Texas 77024. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
