Randy Charles Harling was born June 22, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Conley and Charlotte Harling. Randy was the middle of three boys, and he was well known for his ‘no-nonsense’ attitude, and strong work ethic.
Randy was a great family man and provider, he worked for Dow Chemicals for many years before his recent retirement. His friends and family knew him as the best go-to guy to fix and operate machinery. He loved to fish when he was younger, but he found life long love the first time he held a guitar, he was addicted to music, and loved Rock n’ Roll. He also had a great ‘poker’ face; he was notorious for taking his friends and family to the cleaners if they played with him.
Randy also loved his mother; he always made sure she was well taken care of. Most of all Randy loved the simple things, a good movie, talking with old friends, and just being with his family.
Randy passed away suddenly, March 30, 2016 in Victoria, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father; Conley Harling, and his older brother, K. C. Harling.
Surviving, and missing Randy are his loving mother; Charlotte Harling, Son Travis Harling, brother; David Harling and his wife Rebecca, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members.
Memorials can be sent to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you make a generous donation to your favorite charity in respect for Randy’s generous nature.
