She joins her beloved late husband, Jose Luis Arizmendi after 31 yrs. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, courage and perseverance.
She is survived by her only daughter, Elizabeth Julia Arizmendi and son-in-law, Homero Solis Sr. and five grandchildren: Isaiah X. Solis, Homero Solis Jr., Adam A. Solis, Anali A. Solis & Juliette A. Solis.
A visitation for Raquel will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral mass will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Our Lady Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 23, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
