She was born on the 30th of December 1954, and her parents absolutely adored her. They showed her the world and Reena always had stories she loved to tell about the adventures with her parents. Her love of travel began at an early age when she accompanied her grandmother on a trip to Greece. She continued traveling with her parents to Mexico and Europe, and was able to enjoy a voyage with them on the QE2.
Reena attended and graduated from Kinkiad High School. She continued her education at the University of Texas as well as Trinity University in San Antonio, and earned a bachelor degree in English and History from Houston Baptist University. Reena was also a debutante presented at the Artillery Club in Galveston, Texas. She was a lifelong member of Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral in Houston, Texas and a supporter of The Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Galveston, Texas.
As her parents aged, Reena became their constant companion and caregiver. She dedicated her life to them until they both passed away. Her next love became her rescue dog, Maggie Mae.
