

Regino always put God and Family first. He had a strong Catholic faith. His love of God was reflected in everything he did. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Regino was born on July 22, 1952, in El Campo, Texas to Regino Valle, Jr and Mary A Escamilla. He married Dominga (Sandy) Mendez in Sweeny Texas at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on September 5, 1970. They have been married for 53 years. Regino earned a Bachelor of Science Business and Commerce on December 14, 1984, from the University of Houston. He had several professions before his retirement. He was an oil and gas accountant for over 25 years. Regino earned his Real Estate License and became a broker for several years. He also earned his broker license for residential mortgages. Regino opened a mortgage company with his wife and partnered in a REMAX office. He was an Auditor for the Department of Defense before he retired in April 2012.
Regino is a Veteran. He enlisted in the Army on November 17, 1971. He volunteered to become a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Co A 3rd BN 325th Infantry. He was stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. He was discharged on November 16, 1973. After his discharge, he joined the Army Reserves 75th MAC from 1974, until 1979. Inactive Reserves from 1979 until 1980 and the Texas National Guard Ranger Co G 143rd Infantry Houston Light Guard from October 8, 1980, until March 5, 1985, with a Rank of E6. Regino was very proud to be a paratrooper. He considered all paratroopers brothers.
Regino was a member of the 82nd Airborne Texas Lone Star Chapter and a Lifetime member of the 82nd Airborne National Association. He was a member of the 325th Airborne Association and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4843.
Regino had a passion for his Ancestry. He was a 12th generation Texan when this country was under Spanish rule. His ancestors were among the original fifteen families that arrived in the Presidio San Antonio de Valero. They were the original Colonist from the Canary Islands.
Regino also had a passion for history, he loved to travel and camping. He loved spending time with his kids, grandchildren, and great grandson.
Regino is survived by his wife Dominga (Sandy) Valle, his children son Regino Allan Valle, Daughter Angelica M Valle, grandchildren Lauren A. Valle, Anthony A. Hernandez, Ignacio Hernandez III, Jasmine A. Valle, Vanessa V. Valle, and a great grandson Maddox G. Valle and two brothers and four sisters several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by his parents Regino Valle, Jr. and Mary A. Escamilla, his brothers, Johnny Torres, Usvaldo Cavazos and Joe Morales, Jr., and sister, Sandra Morales.
A visitation for Regino will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A rosary will occur Monday, November 27, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A visitation will occur Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Parish of the Nativity, 308 N Stevenson St, Eagle Lake, TX 77434. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Parish of the Nativity, 308 N Stevenson St, Eagle Lake, TX 77434. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
