Rene Thomas Razo

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Rene T. Razo, age 52, passed away after his courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Houston, TX. Rene loved his country and his hometown of Houston. He served in the U.S. Army from November 1976 – November 1979. Rene was a police officer with Harris County Precinct 5 for 25 years. He believed in protecting his country, town and his family. Rene is preceded in death by his father Valdemar and survived by his wife of 28 years: Lillie; children: Christina (Cary), Natalie (Ivan), Stephanie (Rob), Eric (Daisy); grandchildren: Alexander, Alyssa, Isabella, Samantha; mother: Lupe; father: Luis; step-mother: Rosanna; sisters: Rosemary, Rosie, Audriana, Azaria; brother; Vincente; numerous nieces, nephews, dear friends Felipe and Rosi Rivera, their family and Rene’s extended family on the force. Visitation will be 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. with a 5:00 p.m. Rosary Sunday, November 28, 2010 in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks. Rene’s Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at St. Edith Stein Catholic Church 3311 North Fry Road Katy, TX. Committal Service will be in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
