Ricardo Zepeda

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Ricardo Zepeda on February 12, 2025. Ricardo was born on December 22, 1958, in Houston, Texas, and was 66 years old at the time of his passing. He resided in Houston, at 107 Bedford, where he spent much of his life with those he loved.

Ricardo’s life was marked by a love for music, the freedom of riding his motorcycle, the joy of reading, and his unwavering devotion to ministering to others. His passion for life and his kind, generous spirit touched everyone who knew him. He cherished the moments spent with his family, and his love for them was felt deeply by all who were close to him.

Ricardo leaves behind his beloved children: his son, Richard Zepeda, and his daughters, Brenda Anderson and Debra Zepeda. His memory will live on through his grandchildren: Matthew Calderon, Zachary Zamora, Dominique Anderson Jr., Grace Anderson, Niko Zepeda, Bella Elizalde, and Phoenix Anderson, who brought him immense joy.

He is also survived by his loving sisters: Rosemary Partila, Yolanda Picazo, and Nelda Gonzales, and his brothers: Thomas Zepeda, Paul Zepeda, and Joey Zepeda, who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

Ricardo was married to ex wife, Christina Hernandez on May 21, 1977, and together they shared many beautiful years. He will be remembered for his deep faith, his love of family, and the kindness he showed to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on in the countless lives he touched, his passion for life, and the love he so freely gave. Ricardo will forever remain in our hearts.

A visitation for Ricardo will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003, followed by a chapel service at 7:00 PM.
