Beloved father, brother, and friend, Richard Wayne Armbruster went home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2022 at the age of 67 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Rick completed his Bachelors Degree in General Business at the University of Texas. His intelligence, wit, and way with words led him to a life in sales. Born to be a leader, he brought many companies great success throughout his career.
Some of Rick’s great joys in life were golf and movies. He spent his time on the golf course any chance he got amongst his friends at various locations across the country. Rick also spent a large amount of his time watching movies. He was the biggest critic there was. There isn’t a movie he hadn’t seen. When Rick became a husband and father, he spent all his time making sure they were cared for. He loved his family more than anything, especially his children. Rick loved showing his kids old movies and taking them to new ones, playing cards with them, and teaching them what “real” music was. His love for Tom Jones and Elvis will live on in his children forever.
Rick’s sense of humor and personality was contagious to everyone he met. He was competitive and especially enjoyed giving his son-in-law a good beat down in pool and other various games. His love for his children will never be forgotten.
Rick’s greatest accomplishment in life was accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior and leading his family down the same path of salvation. He made sure his family and friends knew who our Lord was and did his best to bring others to Christ. His final wishes were for those who have not found Christ to seek Him and gain salvation, for he wishes to see them again in eternity.
He was predeceased by his father and mother, Jack Armbruster and Pat Green. He is survived by his son, Reed, his daughter, Reagan and her husband, Blake, and his sister, Lori, along with his aunt, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
