Richard Duane Kuharski

Born January 20, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Marion and Alice (Jankowiak) Kuharski. He attended Catholic School at St. Ambrose and graduated from St Pius in 1981. He worked for AT&T for the last 17 years as a Cable Splicer. Richard spent about 10 years in New Braunfels before moving to Chappell Hill where he has enjoyed a peaceful small-town country life.

Richard was a very private man, kept much to himself, but always welcomed the company of a good friend. He was an old soul, who loved a good laugh and wasn’t afraid of hard work. A country boy at heart, he enjoyed raising cattle and all that goes along with it, as well as pickling!

Preceded in death by his mother, Alice Jean Kuharski. He is survived by his father Marion Joseph Kuharski, brother Keith Alan Kuharski, and many relatives and close friends.

Viewing will be held at Pat H. Foley located @ 1200 W. 34th Street, 77018 on Thursday, February 8, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00pm.

Funeral Services will be at St. Ambrose Catholic Church located @4213 Mangum Road, 77092 on Friday, February 9th at 10:00am.

Interment to follow at Woodlawn Funeral and Cemetery located at 1101 Antoine Drive, 77055.
