Richard Delgado Talamantez

Richard graduated from Jeff Davis High School and received his Police Certification from the University of Houston Downtown. He later met Ruth and they were married in 1991 on their shared birthday of March 3rd.

Richard had a career as a police officer in both Dallas and Houston Texas for over 30 years. He showed his dedication and love of riding motorcycles by serving as a motorcycle escort on his time off and taking long trips with his favorite people.

He is preceded in death by his Father- Florencio Talamantez, Mother - Pauline Talamantez, Brothers Paul “Pie” Talamantez and Rudy Talamantez, and his Son Jeremy Tober Talamantez.

He is survived by Wife - Ruth Tober Talamantez, Son – Richard Paul Talamantez Jr., Grandson - Zayden Richard Talamantez, Granddaughters - Ava Helena Talamantez and Juliette Ruth Talamantez, daughter in law - Brianne Heflin Talamantez.

Serving as pallbearers are, Richard Talamantez Jr., Zayden R. Talamantez, Adam Talamantez, Milo Garcia, Jesse Talamantez Jr., and Rudy Talamantez Jr.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Jessie “Dungo” Talamantez, and Andy Morales.
