Robbie Mae Holcomb

Robbie Mae was born January 24, 1948 to Deboria and Robert Johnson in Houston, TX. There were 3 children born to this union (Robbie, Debbie & Kenneth) Robbie Mae was known to her loved ones & friends as “BaBa”. she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a early age and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and later she joined Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a wonderful pianist, organist & singer.

Robbie Mae is preceded in death by her parents and step brother (Lynn).

Robbie Mae was raised in the Acres Home and attended Osborne elementary school and Booker T. Washington High School. She went on to further her education at Prairie View University.

She met and married Walter Holcomb, December 16, 1967. Walter and Baba began their life together and to this union one child was born October 23, 1969, Stacy D. Holcomb.

Robbie Mae worked for HISD 30 years where she was a Executive Administrator and went on to retire.

(Elijah); one brother Kenneth Johnson, 2 nephews, Adrian Green, (Lanisha) and Jermarian Green, great grand niece Alaysia Amani Green, step brother Robert, step sister Lillie and a host of cousins other family members and friends.

A visitation for Robbie will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088. Following the visitation will be the committal from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Cemetery Beautiful, 8401 Wheatley St, Houston, TX 77088.
