Robert Arthur Ehlers, 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2011. He was born on Sunday September 13, 1931 in Baldwin, New York to Edwin and Helen Ehlers. Robert is survived by his wife, Arlene Ehlers; Son, Stephen Ehlers and his wife MaLinda, daughter, Cindy Gamble and her husband Richard, daughter, Cathy Minchew and her husband Dave, daughter, Carol Digilio, daughter, Tildy Chapman and her husband Iaim; grandchildren, Christopher Ehlers and his wife Jennifer, Carla Jurek and her husband Carry, Angela Doreck and her husband Adam, Michael Gamble, Josh Minchew and his wife Julie, Jason Minchew and his wife Jade, Theresa Minchew, Jeremy Minchew, and Vincent Digilio; sister, Jane Gamble. He was also survived by 6 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00PM Friday November 18, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday November 19, 2011 in the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel, 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77079. Interment will follow in the Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
