Robert Gomez

Robert worked for most of his life in industrial plating, continuing to work even after retirement age.

Robert loved the game of golf and was a member of the Pan American Golfers Association in Houston. In his later years he enjoyed watching golf tournaments on TV. He enjoyed keeping up with the Houston Astros and the Texans.

He was a member of the Young at Heart club of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and enjoyed meetings and outings as part of the club.

Robert was full of fun and enjoyed telling stories and laughing with everyone.

He loved his family dearly and was a kind and generous man.

Robert is preceded in death by his first wife Beatrice, his sisters, Rita, Ora, Dora, Gloria and his brothers, Steve and Arthur, his father Eulalio Gomez and his mother Isabel Garcia Caro.

He is survived by wife Vera, step-son Robert A. Gomez and his wife Brenda, daughter Julie Scott and her husband Steve, his brother Eulalio Gomez Jr. and sister Rachel Ferrari, as well as many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
