Robert Carl Tarr, a long-time resident of Atascocita passed away on August 31, 2025 at the age of 85. Robert was born in Campbell, Ohio in his childhood home on March 24th, 1940. He was the son of Anthony Tarr from Pacentro, Italy and Marie Soboleski of Pennsylvania. Bob grew up in Campbell, Ohio and graduated from Memorial High School where he played the drums in the school band. In October of 1958 he enlisted in the United States Army. His rank was PFC and he drove a tank while stationed in Germany. After completing his service, he was Honorably Discharged.
Bob was married to Patricia Catherine Musolino for 58 years. They began their married life in 1962 in California where he worked pruning palm trees. He then learned carpentry skills and built custom cabinets. Bob also took drafting design classes which eventually landed him a job in the petrochemical field as a piping designer. This career path led to reassignments in Illinois, Michigan and finally Texas, all while raising three kids along the way. Bob also traveled to many countries overseeing the planning and construction of large chemical plants while working for MW Kellogg and Bechtel Corporation.
One of Bob's greatest childhood memories was camping on the shores of Lake Erie. As young adult he played the drums in a local band where they played at weddings and other events. As an adult, Bob cherished family get togethers, spaghetti Sundays and socializing with friends. He said his proudest moment as an adult was watching his two daughters graduate from college.
Bob enjoyed fishing, duck and deer hunting. Other hobbies he liked were golfing, riding jet skis, smoking meats and making his famous butter beans.

Bob and Pat learned many different dance styles including polka, country, and disco.
