Roberta leaves behind a large, loving family and extended family and friends. Left to mourn her is her loving husband of 62 years, Howard Williamson, in addition to three children, Tracy Schoen, Dan Williamson (and wife Michelle) and Bill Williamson (and wife Vernessa). She is also survived by her wonderfully and beautifully made grandchildren, Kasey Smith, Samantha Williamson, Kendall Williamson, Marshall Williamson and Meghan Williamson (and wife Amanda). Roberta also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews, in addition to great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved dearly.
Roberta is preceded in death by her mother and father (Margaret and William Koehler), and three siblings, brother William Koehler Jr., sister Jeanine Camm and brother Timothy Koehler. She fiercely loved all three of her siblings and has been wrestling with her younger brother’s death for a couple of years. She misses them all and we are grateful that they are all there to meet her. She was also preceded in death by Tracy’s husband David, who, as we well know, was there to meet her in a red golf cart and take her around in style.
A memorial celebration of Roberta's life will be held on Thursday, May 11 at Forest Park Westheimer. Guests may begin arriving at 9am to visit with the family, eat a light breakfast and share stories of Roberta's life. The brief service will begin at 10am.
We ENCOURAGE all guests to wear jeans and black shirts - or flannel shirts - to honor her amazing wardrobe that we all so loved! Please be casual - no need to dress up for this - Roberta loved her jeans and t-shirts!!!
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to Reggie’s Friends.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.forestparkwestheimer.com for the Williamson family.
