I knew Rocio for many years, and she was truly one of the strongest, hardest-working, luchona, and most perseverant people I have ever met. I witnessed her beat cancer once… but this sickness is a monster.

There was never a day she didn’t work tirelessly, day and night, to make sure her family was cared for. She gave so much of herself to others and siempre extendía una mano to anyone in need.

I’ll never forget the way she greeted me with her warm “hello! hello!” every time we spoke, or how she always had all the tea ready to share. Whenever we got together, I knew I had to clear my schedule, because our conversations would last for hours.

She was a true friend. A devoted mother, even as her kids built lives of their own. She adored her grandchildren and loved her niece as if she were her own daughter. Rocio was fiercely loyal to her employers, and despite everything she endured, she always carried a smile.

I will miss you, my dear friend. More than words can ever say. 💔

My mom always stressed education to us. It was such a great moment to see her youngest child be accepted to one of the best schools in country. The best way to honor her is to strive to be better in anything and everything 🤍

The strongest and most warrior woman that I will always remember my dear Rocio🫂🕊️ she fought until her last day, all the beautiful moments we spent together are kept at the bottom of my heart, may she rest in peace, her departure will always hurt me but God had better plans for you now rest by his side I love you and I will always love you my dear Rocio!!!

Our beloved Tía has passed. She had a warrior’s spirit she never gave up and fought until the very end. To me, she was like a second mother, a woman who deserved everything this world could give. She was a true Aztec, strong and proud. We will always love her and carry her memory with us.

She fight a good fight but the Lord had her in his hands! Thank you Rocio for your hard work and thank you for checking on me. We will miss you dearly. I will keep your family in my prayers! May the Lord comfort you family during the time of their bereavement!
