Rodger Dean Jones, age 64, of Houston, TX, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 . Rodger was born in Houston, TX, on December 16, 1957. Rodger Dean Jones graduated from Sam Houston High School. He was married to Wenda Jo Jones on January 28 in 1976. Rodger worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and his wife.
Rodger is survived by his children Chrystal Jones Hilliard (husband Galen B. Hilliard Sr.) and Clifton Jones (wife Kristy Jones); grandchildren Galen B. Hilliard Jr., Isaiah Eilers, Raelynn Jones, Atreyu Jones and Aubreylynn Eilers; and siblings Francis McVay and Sheral Jones.
All services will occur Friday, March 11, 2022. A memorial service will occur from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will follow immediately after at 3:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
