

Mrs. Rolinda Delos Santos Real, 81, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully after a long, brave battle with Parkinson’s disease in her home on Sunday, September 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Real was born September 25, 1943 in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines to Mateo Delos Santos and Demetria Delos Santos.
In 1967, she obtained her Bachelor Degree of Science in Elementary Education from the University of the East. In 1971, Rolinda and her husband Francisco emigrated from the Philippines to Houston, Texas to pursue a better life for their family.
She was an active member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, where she served as a choir member for many years. Rolinda enjoyed singing, dancing, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Rolinda Delos Santos Real was preceded in death by her parents, Mateo Delos Santos and Demetria Delos Santos, brother Miguel Delos Santos, sister Dailsay Delos Dantos, and granddaughter Ashley-Michelle Bonares.
She leaves behind her loved ones in Houston, Texas and Chicago, Illinois, including her loving husband of 56 years, Francisco Real; sister, Rustica Delos Santos Mejia, daughters, Judelin Bonares and Sheralin Salas; son, Franklin Real; grandchildren, Linzhe Obando, Abigail-Melinda Bonares, AJ Bonares, Grace Salas, Maiko Real, and Matthew Salas; and many extended family members, in-laws, and friends.
Rolinda was an honorable and cherished Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend, and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
