Rona Veronica Bass James

Rona Veronica James surname Bass born in Lodge Project, St. Kitts, West Indies, passed away on October 10, 2011. She resided in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands until the time of her illness, where she then resided in Houston, TX.

Rona Bass was born on September 2nd to the late David Bass and Elizabeth Clarke-Bass. She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel James, 5 children and 3 children in-law, Movyn Bass, Jennifer Bass (daughter in-law), Sandra Bass, Altena Ashitey, Nicholas Ashitey (son in-law) Alretta James, Kendra Sterling, and Wentworth Sterling (son in-law). Also, eleven grandchildren, Gerald Carries Jr, Brittany Bass, Ashley Carries, Destini Brathwaite, Brandon Bass, Akiv Carries, Patrick Carries, Trevon Collins, Damiah Sterling, Jayden Sterling and Nicole Ashitey.

Her surviving siblings are George Clarke & family, William Bass & family, Leonard Bass & family, Ashley Bass & family, Vanzell Bass & family, Pamela Nicholas & family, Emile Bass & family, Joseph Bass & family, Mary Broadbelt & family, Joan Miller & family, Lochton Bass & family. Recognition to the late Adella (Iris) Bass & her family and her only brother in-law, Abraham James & family.

She is survived by many nephews, nieces, close relatives and friends.

Gone to soon was a Virtuous woman, loving wife, compassionate mother, caring sister and a loyal friend! Rest in the arms of Jesus until we meet again.
