

Ronald Robinson was born October 21, 1951, in Houston, Texas to Viola and Milton Robinson Sr. He accepted Christ at an early age, and attended Damascus Missionary Baptist Church with his family, under the leadership of the late Pastor L. Chaney. Ronald was an active member in the church and won several B.T.U (Bible Training Union) competitions that allowed him to travel over the world. He attended Ryan Elementary School and a proud graduate of Kashmere High School. Ronald later furthered his education at Texas Southern University.
In 1968 he met Vernett Parker whom he dated for 2 years and later married on December 04, 1971. Ronald and Vernett celebrated 50 years of marriage December 04, 2021. To God be the glory! To this union, three children were born. Patrick, Christopher and Crystal.
Ronald was employed by General Motors in the early 70’s until late 90’s. In 2000, he worked for Safe Site Inc. as a dedicated employee where he worked until his health declined.
In the early 80’s Ronald and his family attended Philippi Baptist Church and later became members of St. Luke Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Vernon Strahan, where he humbly accepted his call to the Gospel Ministry. Being faithful to the call, Pastor Robinson founded New Life Church and later merged to True Vine Community Church in the Acres Home area, where he served until his transition. He faithfully served God’s people for 20+ years. Pastor loved his members and they loved him.
He was a pioneer and warrior in the Kingdom of God, whose faith never wavered. Pastor always had a kind word and shared Jesus with everyone he met. He would not allow you to leave his presence, without praying. He was truly God’s servant.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Viola Robinson and Milton Robinson Sr. Cherishing his memory: A loving and devoted wife of 50 years, 1st lady Vernett (Parker) Robinson; two sons: Patrick Wayne (Barbara); Christopher Michael (Danielle); one daughter: Crystal Patrice (Paul). Seven grandchildren: Dayshanell, Christopher Jr., Porsche, Patronea, Patrick Jr., Cayla, and Paul Jr. Five great- grandchildren: Jamiyah, Khalil, Kayson, Blake and Bentley. One sister: Sheila Frazier (Willie-deceased) two brothers: Milton Jr. (Lisa); Donald (Selena).
Ronald leaves a host of relatives: In-laws, nieces, nephews, beloved church members, God-children and friends. He was loved by all and will truly be missed.
