Ronnie graduated from Jesse H. Jones High School in 1965. He attended college at the University of Houston. He was employed with Chicago Title as a land examiner for 37 years. He enjoyed collecting and listening to records. He was a tremendous music buff. Throughout his life he attended and volunteered at several different churches. He always took pleasure in a good golf game with his neighbor. He loved to watch the Texans and the Cougars play football. It thrilled him to know that both of them were having great seasons this year. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.
Ronnie is survived by his two children Donnie Castillo and Diana Castillo-Reese, his sister Linda Shuler, his niece Dawn Shuler, and his grandchildren Joshua Reese, Justin Reese, Jared Reese, Brittany Reuth, Gina Castillo, Daniel Castillo, and Isabella Castillo.
A Memorial Service will be held at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas, 77079, at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011.
