Roosevelt Brown Sr.

Roosevelt Brown Sr. was born July 28th, 1940, to the late Annie Pearl Brown and Sammy Brown Sr. He met and married Norma Mayfield in 1964, and four children were born to this union.

He accepted Christ early, beginning his career as a baker with Weingardens and retiring with Kroger after 33 years. He was a hard worker, with secondary jobs working at the blood center and as a security officer.

He loved reading his Bible, singing gospel songs, and helping others, but most of all, he loved eating.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Jason Brown, Nakita Brown, and Karen Parker; six grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; two siblings; Joyce Chambers & James Brown.

He was preceded death by his son; Roosevelt Brown, Jr.

A viewing for Roosevelt will be held on March 26, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, located at 10401 West Montgomery Road in Houston, Texas. The funeral service will immediately follow from 11:00 AM to 12PM. The committal will follow services from 12:15 PM to 12:30PM at Paradise Cemetery North, 10401 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston, Texas 77088.
