She grew up in San Antonio, where she met Alejandro Rodriguez. They were married in Detroit, MI and had three children. Rosa remarried to Ernest Greene and moved to Gary, IN, where she worked at Methodist Hospital. Rosa Retired from Methodist with over 30 years. Rosa and Ernest moved to Houston, TX, after retirement. Ernest passed in 2003 and was buried at the VA cemetery.
Rosa was preceded by siblings Manuel Lopez and Ester Perez.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Brothers: Antonio Lopez, Gilbert Lopez, Henry Lopez and Camilo Lopez. Children: Alexander L. Rodriguez, Roselinda Rodriguez and Carlos Rodriguez. Grandchildren: Benito, Angel, Christie, Isabel, Salina, Sy, Bibiana, Matt. Great Grandchildren: Allie, Samire, Legend, Axel, Kiya Ann. A host of relatives and friends.
A visitation for Rosa will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane St. Houston, Texas 77037, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM TO 11:00 AM.
