Rosalio (Leo) Renteria of Houston, Texas, succumbing to cancer at the age of 94, passed into eternal rest on the morning of Saturday, July 10, 2021. He was born in Houston, Texas on January 12, 1927 to parents Isidro and Maria Renteria.
Rosalio served in the US Armed Forces- Army-Air force. He was an avid lover of music. He played piano with several bands in Houston; also had his own orchestra for a few years before playing with the Houston bands. He traveled extensivly with his wife of 47 years and loved going to casinos. He was a kind and truthful man and made a good and quiet impression on anyone that he met.
As he once stated: quoting Frank Sinatra: "I have traveled each and every highway" with my love Rosario. She will forever miss this man.
Rosalio is preceded in death by his parents: Isidro and Maria Del Refugio Renteria; brothers, Pablo Grande, Epifanio, Pablo Chico, Juan, Isidro; and sisters, Maria R. Martinez and Leonor R. Quiroga. He is survived by his loving wife Rosario, sons John and Henry, sister Aurora R. Lopez and numerous nieces and nephews.
