Rose Mary Casassa Caravella

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, her son Jackie, and her parents Gio Batta Casassa and Jennie Casassa. Rose Mary is now happily reunited with her devoted husband of 72 years and her precious son Jackie. Your loving family has anxiously awaited your arrival with open arms.She is survived by her daughter Mary Jo May and husband Bob; grandsons Vincent May and wife Melissa, Alan May and wife Lissa, Anthony May; granddaughter Dawn Moody and husband James; great grandchildren Tanner Jack May, Jake Anthony May, Jacqueline Prince, Jessica Prince, Avery May and Ariel May.

Rose Mary worked by her husband's side in their family owned construction business "Caravella Waterproofing," which was formed in 1956. Both retired in 1985.

Mother, you were a wonderful mother to me and grandmother to your grandchildren. You devoted your life to making your family happy. You were selfless, caring, loving and always there for us. You were a constant in my life and in your grandchildren's and it will be difficult to go on without you. You were our guiding light. I will always love you; your family will always love you. What gives us comfort is knowing that you are now in the arms of your loving husband and your son Jackie.

The family will receive friends for a visitation at Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16th with the rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17th at the chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Directors, committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association and the American Heart Society.
