Roy Maldonado Caudillo

Roy Maldonado Caudillo, 91, born in Doucette, Tx, passed away 9/4/2024. Preceded in death by his parents Manuel & Genoveva Caudillo, children Mike and Belinda Caudillo, son-in-law Johnny Gonzales, brothers Raul, Manuel, Richard and Arthur Caudillo, sister Lucy Bosquez. Survived by his beloved wife of 72 years Agnes, sons Raul “Leroy”, George and John Caudillo, daughters Geneva Gonzales and Gloria Caudillo, sisters Odelia and Luz Martinez, grandchildren Anthony Gonzales and John Louis Caudillo, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roy graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1951. Married Agnes Partida July 19, 1952. Roy had 30 years of service at the Houston Fire Department and promoted as first Hispanic District Chief of HFD in 1972 and retired in January 1989. Visitation Thursday, September 12 at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 Broadway St., Houston, Tx 77087 from 4pm to 8pm with Rosary at 6:30pm. Services at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012 Friday, September 13 with viewing at 10 AM and mass at 11 AM. Interment at Forest Park Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale, Houston, Tx 77023. Pallbearers: Raul, George, John, John L. E. and Izayah Caudillo, Anthony Gonzales, Coby Lopez, Joey Saldivar.
