Ruby Nell Branch

Ruby Nell Branch received her wings on August 15, 2025. Ruby is survived by her 3 children; Darlene Clark, Jonathan Branch, and Rodney Branch, spouses; Nikki Branch, Tracy Branch, and Johnny Clark, Grandchildren; Erin Branch and Julian Branch, her sister Mary Lou Robinson, and many nieces and nephews.

Ruby was born in Midway, Texas on May 16, 1937 to parents Edward & Alberta Brazle. The family migrated to Houston when she was a child. Ruby went on to graduate from Wheatley High School and shortly thereafter she married John Branch. They were married for 27 years before his passing separated them in 1984.

Ruby had an incredible appetite for travel. She hated flying but was always boarding a plane. She refused to allow fear to stop her. She was also an amazing cook. Cooking for family and friends was one of her love languages. When she worked as a caregiver many would try to steal her away because of her talents in the kitchen. We know for certain that we will never lose Ruby Branch’s love, even to death. She will continue to participate in every act, thought, and decision we make. Her love has left an indelible imprint in our memories. We will find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared that love.
