The Lord accepted Rudolfo (Rudy) Alaniz II of Mobile, Alabama into his arms on December 10, 2022, at the age of 66. He was born on April 27, 1956, in Poteet, Texas to Rudolfo and Guadalupe Alaniz. He was a loving son, brother, father, and grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolfo (Rudy) Alaniz; brother, Robert Alaniz; and grandparents, Crispin and Francisca Alaniz and Maximino and Estanislada Calvillo.
He is survived by his treasured mother, Guadalupe Alaniz; long-time sweetheart, Patricia Sartin Alaniz and caring family; loving children, daughters, Jamie Saathoff (Matthew) and Misty Thayer (J.D.), and son Christopher Castillo (Jocelyn); devoted siblings, Delia Poole, Patrick Alaniz, Connie Brewer (Rob), Bobby Alaniz (Lori), and Max Alaniz (Deanna); five grandchildren; Julianne, Tyler, and McKenzie Saathoff and Jackson and Morgan Thayer; five nieces and two nephews; three great nephews; and other relatives and friends who will all miss him dearly.
