Ruth Etta Picazo

Ruth Etta Baily Picazo, age 77, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 8:20pm. She was surrounded by her family as she passed listening to Elvis sing Amazing Grace. She will always be remembered as a strong woman with a big heart who cared for her family fiercely. She always wore a smile, especially when Elvis sang.

Born in Houston, TX, to parents Solomon Joseph Bailey and Lucy Francis Bailey. She is the older sister of Solomon Ray Bailey. All three welcome her to Heaven where they are together again.

She is survived by the love of her life, Daniel E. Picazo Sr. (husband of 58 years), her two sons, Duane Picazo, and Daniel Picazo Jr., her daughter-in-law, Cindy Keller Picazo, her grandchildren, Cori Noelle, Kacy Nicole, Jacob Daniel,

& Zachary Dale, who all love her and miss her dearly. She always shared love & kindness with everyone around her.

Ruth always saw life as an adventure and lived it to the fullest.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, February 7, 2022 from 5p to 8p at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held in the main chapel at 10a on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 with Rev. Zane Crawford, retired Pastor of University Park Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
