You were my mom's best friend and always very kind and nice to me growing up.  I really don't remember not knowing you.  I felt like I should have cousins and aunts at your funeral because you were always a part of my family.  While I didn't see you often in recent years, I kept up with you through my mom and I know you heard all about us too.  You will be greatly missed and we are praying for your family too.  I am glad you are not hurting any more and I am sure you know you are loved by many.

Mrs. Roane's kindness has stayed with me and will continue to be with me. I know the Angels rejoiced upon your homecoming as we said goodbye with streams and pools of tears.

Thank God for Godly Mother's to give us the example to be! So many great memories of Yvonne Roane growing up fine Christian lady alway smiling and always showed love to all who knew her!! Especially Grandma Rash, as y'all treated her your own! So sorry Yalls hearts are heavy for such a great loss and example here on earth!  BUT, know she truly lives on in your hearts, actions expressions and examples you are to others!  May GOD embrace you to live her legacy and know he has blessed you with this angel on earth that loved her family so dearly!! Much love and respect to your family !! Praying for your great memories to over flood the hurt!

I put a special letter in your casket with you..I know you will read it. Today has by far been the hardest day of my life. I not only had to let go of my Grandmother but I also had to let go of my best friend. Everything was so pretty just like you. You made me promise that I wouldnt be as upset and sad as I am but its just so hard. You deserve to be with our heavenly father right now and I have to accept that. Aunt Yvonne was a great person.  She always called and asked how we were doing. She put others before herself. I cherish time time spent with her. She will be greatly missed.

I don't remember a time when Yvonne wasn't in my life.  I do know that she spent time praying with my Mom over all us girls.  She was a good friend to our family and will be missed.  Prayers of peace for the family.
