Samuel James Glosson

Samuel James Glosson, 38, was born on June 25, 1976, in Houston TX to Anita Gale Fields Glosson and Roger Wayne Glosson. He was raised to manhood by his mother and Robert Cabrera, his loving dad. He graduated from Spring High School in 1995, then worked many years as a plumber. At the time of his sudden death on January 17, 2015, Sam was living in Huffman Tx and attended the Little Country Church in New Caney, TX. Sam was preceded in death by his grandparents: William David Fields and Veoma Maree Newman Fields; James Ollie Glosson and Nelma Gean Plunkett Glosson; his birth father, Roger Wayne Glosson; and his brother, David Elliot Cabrera. Sam is survived by his loving parents: Robert and Anita Cabrera; his soul mate Summer Smith; and his children, whom he adored, Samantha, Jocelyn, Haley, David, Austin and Anthony. He left behind three sisters: Julie Heinze, Diane Trelfa, Angelina Day and six brothers: Kevan Glosson, Michael Cabrera, Daniel Cabrera, Robert Matthew Cabrera and Robert Rivera. He also left many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sam was a passionate man with a big heart who loved life, music, fun and most of all, his family. He will be deeply missed.

The visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Friday, January 23rd. Funeral service will be held at 3PM on Saturday, January 24th in Brookside Family Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
