Ms. Santos "Sandy" H Luna

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Santos Hernandez Luna, age 78, of Houston, Texas, on December 31, 2024. Santos was born on December 18, 1946, and spent over three decades making significant contributions to the Houston Astros organization. She was beloved by colleagues and friends alike for her dedication, hard work, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.

Outside of her professional life, Santos was passionate about reading and crocheting, hobbies she enjoyed deeply and shared with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a devoted stepmother.

Santos is survived by her children: Manuel Luna III and Noe Martin Luna; her stepsons: John Paul Moore, Tommy Moore, Michael Bustus and Robert Moore; stepdaughters: Kathy Carrio and Michelle Moore; grandchildren: Kathy Marie Luna, Noe Luna Jr., and Devanna Cook; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings: Carlos Hernandez, Bennito Hernandez Jr., and Bennito's spouse Margarita Hernandez.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Beatrice "BeBe" Luna, and her loving husband, Tom Moore.

A visitation for Sandy will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Santos will be remembered for her warmth, her love for her family, and her dedication to those around her. She touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
