

Sarah Dale Donaho, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025. She was born to Maurice and Wesa Garabrant in Mineola, New York on October 8, 1940.
Sarah later moved with her parents to Garden City, New York. In 1949 the family moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan where she remained until graduating from college. Sarah attended the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1962. Upon graduation, Sarah worked in the Travel Business with various companies until 1980. Sarah later made her home in Houston, Texas.
In 1992, Sarah met her husband, Ole Donaho, at a Rotary Convention in Lafayette Louisiana. The couple married on April 19, 1995. Ole and Sarah spent time doing things they enjoyed particularly traveling and going on cruises. A favorite trip consisted of a 32-day cruise that included Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand. Sarah also enjoyed attending the Opera.
Sarah was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany for 25 years. She was also a Member and Past President of Bellaire Southwest Houston Rotary Club. Sarah will be remembered by her kind and loving personality and ability to put a great trip together.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Cramer and Wesa Dale Garabrant and brother Charles Garabrant. She is survived by her husband, Ole Donaho, stepson Mark, Daughter-in-law, Stephanie, sister, Marilyn Morris, brother-in-law, David Morris and three grandchildren.
A service will be held on October 4, 2025 3:00pm at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Contributions can be made to the Bellaire Southwest Houston Rotary Foundation at P.O. Box 254 Bellaire, TX 77401 or ECHOS 9600 South Gessner, Houston, TX 77071.
