

Sarah was a fitness instructor/personal trainer and a business owner. She was an alumna of Klein High School and the University of Texas at Austin. In her undergraduate studies, she enrolled in the School of Kinesiology and was a member of the sorority, Kappa Delta Phi.
She was passionate about physical fitness, enjoyed traveling and weekly supper clubs with close friends. Sarah had an amazing light that was palpable when she walked in the room. Her smile filled hearts with warmth and she shared her spirit with the rest of the world. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and soul mate. She touched hundreds of souls with her immeasurable kindness and beauty, and is someone who cannot be replaced.
Sarah is survived by her husband, Brian Nguyen; stepdaughter, Madison; parents, Peter and Mai Van Dong of Spring, Texas; sister, Lisa; brother, Jason; Father and Mother-in-Law, Dennis and Diane Nguyen; brother-in-law, Bang; sister-in-law, Jody; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and countless friends. She is loved and dearly missed by all who knew her.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 16th of May, in the Parlor and Grand Foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, and also from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 17th of May, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons.
The funeral service is to be conducted at half-past nine o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 18th of May, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, where the Rev. Shawn Kang, Sr. Pastor at Pathways Church of Houston, is to officiate.
At a later date, the family is to gather for a private inurnment service at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston.
