Sau Thi Tran

Sau was a devoted housewife who was married for 65 years to her husband Hai Van Nguyen. She cared for her family and friends and was a devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Lavang Parish. She took a great part in Our Lady of Lavang’s Chorus groups.

Sau Thi Tran is survived by her husband Hai Van Nguyen; daughters, Minh Nguyen, Van Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Nga Nguyen, and Ngoc Nguyen; brother, Tam Tran; grandchildren, Andre Hochi, Alison Hochi, Phuong Nguyen, Vi Nguyen, Ben Nguyen, Kristi Vo, Michelle Vo, Victoria Do, Vanna Do, Vanessa Do.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Fathers at the Our Lady of Lavang, Houston, TX; Tri Ân Choir and Thanh Tam Choir at Our Lady of Lavang, Houston, TX, as well as the Lavang Boy & Girl Scouts.

A visitation for Sau will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home at Champions, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068.

A visitation will occur Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Lavang Church in Houston, 12320 Old Foltin Rd, Houston, TX 77086.

A graveside service will occur Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
