One of my best friends, mentor, fellow musician, grillin buddy, and so much more. I miss him everyday. God rest his soul.

may your hearts be healed by how many people love and cared for your son Scot and for your family.  He sounded like an incredible person.  My deepest and heartfelt condolences.

I find this news hard to believe. We had some good times going to rock shows when I lived in Houston. ROCK!!

Scot was a delightful person who did nothing in this cold world but bring warmth and happiness to each and every person he met. It will be a colder, more gray place without him. His smile and laughter were contagious. His personality was oriented toward making everyone happier with whatever situation that you find yourself in. 

Sing on, Scotty. Play it extra loud so that we can all hear you calling from heaven, amigo.

My condolences to Scot's family and friends. "The life of the party" is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Scot. But also, he had a wonderful way of making you feel like the only person in the room.  He will be missed.

I had not spent time with Scot since the early 90's, but I know he would still be the funny guy laughing and enjoying what ever was going on. He always had so much life around him. He was the one you wanted to be standing next to. My condonces to his family:(

Scot, my friend,  I will miss you.  You always had the ability to brighten up a room just by walking in, to make an ordinary day special, and to take a boring get-together and turn it into an event.  So many will miss you dearly, and you will not be forgtton.

I had the pleasure of working with Scot for the past 10 years.  He was so talented and always enthusiastic about what he was selling!  We will all miss his charm, his sense of humor, and his music.  May God bless his family and those who loved him.

Scot selflessly helped many people in need, including me in the darkest of times.  I will miss you, old friend.
