Shadrick Christopher George

      Reflections of Life Shadrick Christopher George was born on June 14, 1976 to Roland and Myra George. Shadrick attended the Aldine Independent School District. He also went on to attend McMurry University in Abilene, Texas and Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View, Texas. Shadrick grew up attending Scenic Woods Church of Christ. He later Joined New Light Christian Center Church under the leadership of Bishop I.V. Hilliard. He remained a member until his passing. Shadrick loved sports. He had a passion for football.  He was of course the #1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.  He was a proud die-hard leader of “COWBOY NATION”.  Shadrick especially liked the players Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.  During football season, Shadrick would have all of his “Dallas Cowboys” gear displayed and near him.  His famous line when watching the games with family and friends was “They’re coming back”! Shadrick was a gentle giant. He displayed great character traits as a man.  Shadrick loved and adored his wife-Chaka. Shadrick was one of the best Fathers in the world to Janai and Laila. He was preceded in death by his: Father-Roland George; Twin daughters, Lundyn and Brooklyn; Grandfather, Albert George; Grandmother, Geneva Gibson George; Aunts and Uncles: Charles Cooper (Doris), Ronnie Cooper (Faye). He leaves to forever cherish his memory his Wife: Chaka George; two daughters, Janai and Laila; his Mother, Myra George; Sister, Shironica Georg; Mother in Law, Debra Crump (Johnny); Father in Law, James Brooks (Norma), Aunt, Barbara Brumley;  Uncles,  Larry Hadnot, Thomas Hadnot (Maxine) and a host of other relatives and friends.
