I learned of Shelby's death yesterday, 12/15/12, when I was at Pappadeaux's in the Hobby Airport. I traveled over 300 days/year, and I always made time to eat at Pappadeaux's.  Shelby, and the whole crew are my travel family, and kept me at ease.  The bar had a weird somber aura that I assumed was due to the Newtown Tradgedy.  I asked another Bartender which shift was Shelby on and why hadn't I seen her.  He grabbed a towel and braced himself on the bar whiping and cleaning as he made his way to me and said Shelby had passed away.  I was devistated.  I am still devistated, and ashamed that I did not know of her passing.  From now on, I will maintain contact & relationships with the people I meet in my travels.  I have met alot of Shelby's, but I've never lost one.   I am so, so, so, Sorry for your loss.  I cannot imagine how you feel.  Your daugthter, sister, friend, girlfriend...brought me and alot of very lonely travelers alot of Joy.  Be blessed... I love You Shelby
