Shirley May Dailey

She was born in E. St. Louis, IL on February 16, 1931. Shirley attended East Side High School in E. St. Louis, IL.

She was married to Robert Dailey in 1957.

Shirley worked as a Medical Assistant for Dr Orville Cramer in Belleville, IL for many years before retiring and moving to Texas in 1985. Because of her love of people she returned to work as a cashier for Luby's Diner for over 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her two daughters Margaret Rapp and Maria Freeman, son Martin Robinson and her beloved husband Robert.

She is survived by two daughters Laura Taylor of Spring, TX and Carol Goheen of St. Louis, MO, Granddaughters Estee Harcrow of Katy, TX and Brandee Wiggins of Washington, Grandsons Pete Rapp of Fairview Hts, IL, Jason Rapp of Smithton, IL, Justin Etherton of Belleville, IL Buckley Taylor of Porter, TX, Levi Cochran of Valley Park, MO and Logan Cochran of Los Angeles, and many Great Grandchildren.

A committal service for Shirley will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Robert.
