Simona Lozano Lozano Gonzales

Simona met the love of her life, Alfredo D. Gonzales while working at Weingarten. It was love at first sight for the both of them. They married and spent their spectacular years watching their children grow and carry on the faith and values of the Gonzales family. Together, they created the most unbreakable family bond.

Simona L. Gonzales was the perfect representation of God's love. Her love was unconditional, patient, strong, kind and eternal. As the Gonzales Matriarch, she provided a warm and loving home for all. She always ensured that every guest left with a sense of being a part of the family. She invited guest with a warm smile and they never left without being fed with her delicious meals. She enjoyed collecting angels and spending time in the Gonzales barn, most of all celebrating every magical moment created with all her family.

Simona is survived by her husband of 65 wonderful years Alfredo D. Gonzales, together they were blessed with 10 beautiful children and their spouses, plethora of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was a mother to all who have entered her home.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5pm until 8:30am on Monday, April 7, 2014 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions, 3410 FM 1960 West, Houston, Texas 77068, with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home Champions. Rite of Committal will immediately follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
