Son Hong Le

A Cremation will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park.

Son Hong Le was born in Saigon, Vietnam to Ha Bich Le and Bach Yen Thi Tran on September 27, 1950. He attended primary school in Saigon. He later graduated from the University of New Orleans in Louisiana. He worked as a computer programmer for Fidelity Information Services for 35 years.

Son served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Son Hong Le is preceded in death by his father, Ha Bich Le; his mother, Bach Yen Thi Tran; and his brother, Hai Hong Le.

Son Hong Le is survived by his former spouse, Ngoc Minh Le; his son, Julien Son Le; and his sisters, Bach Loan Le, Bach Nga Thi Nguyen, Bach Van Thi Le, Bach Nhan Krauth, and Bach Phuong Williams.

The family of Son Hong Le wishes to extend their sincere thanks to MD Anderson Thoracic Department; The Villa Assisted Living and Memory Care in Katy, especially Mr. Paolo and his staff; and Bayou Hospice, including Dr. Lee, Michael (nurse), and Laura (social worker).

Memorials may be given as his ashes will be worshipped at Quang Duc Temple, located at 17703 French Road, Houston, Texas.
