Sondra Ann Ball

Sondra Ann Ball (Sandy), age 84, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 27, 2025, which was also the day she was born in the year 1941 in Wichita, Kansas. First and foremost, Sandy loved Jesus, and this was evident in how she lived her life. She was a precious and sweet lady who always had a smile on her face. The best mother anyone could hope for, Sandy was also loved by many for her beautiful nature, kindness, and warmth.

Raised by her parents (Alvin and Ladine Lassman), Sandy grew up in the small town of Humboldt, Kansas with her older brother Gary and her younger sister, Janice. She moved to Houston in 1976 where she raised her children and worked diligently for many years as an accountant at Sullivan, Henry, Oggero & Associates. She enjoyed shopping, collecting, bible studies with her friends, and traveling. But more than anything, Sandy loved spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. Later in her life, she enjoyed her seven grandchildren, known as GoGo and MiMi to them, and spoiled them all with love and generosity.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alvin and Ladine Lassman, and many other loved ones.

She is survived by her two siblings - Gary Lassman (wife Barbara) and Janice Ostrander, her five children - Anne Williams, Steve Hunt (wife Michelle), Doug Ball (wife Lisa), Deborah McGeorge (husband Todd) Danny Ball (wife Angie), and her grandchildren - Tyler Hunt, McKenna Hunt, Chloe Hunt, Emily Ball, Megan Burrow, Abby Ball, and Eliza Ball.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston TX 77079. Memorial gifts can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the Alzheimer’s Association Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter.
