Stephen Andrew Pratka passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 60. He fought a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on May 5, 1960 to Werner Joe Pratka and Dolores Irving Pratka of Houston, Texas. He graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in Monroe, Louisiana, and Northeast Louisiana University (ULM), now known as University of Louisiana at Monroe, Louisiana with a degree in Accounting. Stephen was an avid golfer. He was on both his High School and College teams. He was also a sports fan of both the Houston Texans and Houston Astros.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Dolores Irving Pratka; sister, Dee Ann Pratka; aunt, Connie Irving of Lake Charles, Louisiana; uncle, Robert Pratka of Houston, Texas, and numerous cousins.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Werner Joe Pratka, of Houston, Texas; uncle, Ralph Edward Irving, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Paternal Grandparents, John and Elfrieda Pratka, of La Grange, Texas, and Maternal Grandparents, Julius and Sunshine Irving, of Monroe, Louisiana.
He was a loving son and brother, who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
